Wave of Strategic Promotions Set the Stage for
Growth of Specialist Business Advisory Service

‘NORTHERN Accountants has made a raft of strategic promotions as part of a major restructure to position us for significant growth in 2025 with the rollout of our new specialist business advisory services.

Following the successful acquisition of Empowered By Cloud in April of this year, all new and existing clients will have access to a Full Finance Function from the start of 2025, and Finance Director services are also being added into our portfolio.

To support this expanded service offering and prepare for anticipated growth, Sarah Lockwood and Rebecca Sharp have all been promoted to Client Manager. Sam Hewitt is elevated to Senior Client Manager, while Sally Claxton takes on the dual role of Senior Client Manager and Head of Finance.

Reflecting on the promotions, Managing Director Phil Ellerby said: “This career progression reflects the outstanding skills, professionalism and commitment that each of these individuals has demonstrated. They consistently go above and beyond for our clients, and we have every confidence they will continue to thrive as they take on these well-deserved roles.”

In another exciting move, we are also recruiting for a new Head of Tax to help us provide clients with accurate and efficient advice as we aim to build and develop our Corporate Finance Division, which is headed by Director Graeme Morrison.

A pivotal moment in our business development strategy, the integration of Empowered By Cloud into Northern Accountants’ operations has already helped to reinforce us as a market leader in tailored accountancy solutions.

Praising the team’s accomplishments over the last eight months, Phil added: “This is a really exciting time for Northern Accountants as we expand our services and strengthen our team. These promotions are not only a testament to everyone’s hard work, they are also an investment in our future.

“Their expertise will be invaluable as we roll out our specialist business advisory services and deliver even greater value to our clients.”
