Northern Accountants
Inaugural Charity Golf Day

Great people, great weather, and (some) great golf – what’s not to love?

Northern Accountants Directors, Ben Muncaster, Phil Ellerby, Ricky Field (Hull) and Mark Alderson (Leeds) enjoy a game of golf

Last Thursday, Northern Accountants hosted its inaugural charity golf day, welcoming 22 teams of clients and friends to a thrilling Texas Scramble. The stakes? Coveted prizes and, more importantly, bragging rights.

The event buzzed with friendly competition, laughter, and plenty of refreshments. Our dedicated Team NA ensured everyone stayed hydrated, with buggies brimming with Moretti, Dark Fruits, Madri, and a variety of water and soft drinks for good measure.

The welcome bags, packed full of snacks and some all-important ‘fine cards’ were a massive hit. We’re already brainstorming for next year, with Strawberry Pencils and Flying Saucers leading the polls for must-have treats.

Following the golf, we gathered to watch the England game even though it wasn’t one of the best football matches, everyone got involved with cheers heard throughout the clubhouse when they scored a goal. The evening continued with delicious food and lively games of darts, pool, and impromptu putting competitions, keeping the celebrations alive well into the night.

Congratulations to Batley Bulldogs RLFC for their win with the trophy dedicated to our dear friend Martin Willock. All proceeds from the event will support charities in his memory.

A big thank you to everyone who participated and to Howley Hall Golf Club for their superb hospitality. We can’t wait to make next year’s event even better – until then, thank you, and see you on the green!
