What are your main interests or hobbies?

If I’m not playing golf or padel, I like to spend my weekends going for a nice meal and a few drinks with my wife and friends. My family own a caravan near Knaresborough, so I also spend a lot of time going for walks in North Yorkshire, which is one of my favourite places to relax.

What’s your favourite or dream holiday destination?

I love travelling and visiting new cities for a nice meal and a pint or two. I really want to go on a tour of South America, but the best place I’ve been to is Barcelona – the historic city and beach combination just works so well.

What’s your favourite food?

I’m really into Chinese, Asian and Thai food but I’d have to say a Crispy Duck Panang Curry with a pint of Stella.

What music do you like – any specific genre or artists?

Indie music is normally on my playlist – anything from The Kooks, Oasis or Fontaines DC, who I saw live in Manchester. I also like 80s music from The Smiths or Soft Cell.

What film or boxset would you recommend to others?

Sons of Anarchy is my favourite TV series but I love anything by Guy Richie so I’d also recommend The Gentleman, Snatch or MobLand.

Do you have a favourite App you use all the time?

It would have to be WhatsApp for sorting out my social life and keeping in touch with family and friends.

What would you do if you won £10m on the lottery?

I’d get my materialistic phase out of the way early on and buy a Range Rover, a big house and a Rolex. Then I’d invest the rest and retire early.

What advice would you give to your younger self?

Find something you’re good at and stick with it. If you go all in, you never know where you might end up.

How would you describe yourself in 5 words?

Organised, helpful, dedicated, friendly and funny.
